I just finished a LO for another one of Busyscrappin's Challenges. I couldn't wait to share it! Its one of my fav. pix that we had taken. Usually I am the one behind the camera, so most pix don't have me in them. Actually like 99% of them don't. *LOL* Most of my pix only include my children. But when we had our family pix done....the photographer just did an awesome job with me & my son...Take a look...

'Funky Fall' kit

Do you like the blog look? Its almost the way it first was before the code got all messed up!! Michelle McCoy spent a good portion of the day fixing it for me (I'm a dummy when it comes to all those codes.. *lol*). She even added a heart with wings like in my Banner. THANK YOU SO MUCH MICHELLE!!! I love it! Some of it is still pink, but thats o.k.

Couple of things in this post...bear with me! I got our family pix back from Olan Mills the other day and just got to upload them into slide.com. Wanted to share them with all of you. Comments welcome!

I made another mini kit..for Busyscrappin's mini kit challenge. I hope you like it. I found out how to use a new filter that I just got. LOVE IT! Look what I did to the leaves paper! How cool. I didn't see no point in wasting the kit so I uploaded it to 4shared...hopefully someone can find some use for it! I would love to see what you make with it!

'Cross'

I was listening to the radio the other day and a song came on (I think the title is 'God is Great' by Cheryl Crow) and one verse said (paraphrased) 'If you could ask God one question, what would it be?" WOW! What would one ask God if only had one question to ask? I have so many, like why all the bad things happen, especially to children. It makes me so sad that the world has gotten so out of control! This is the time we need Jesus the most! I have made a cross that I want to share with everyone to remind you all that JESUS LOVES YOU! You may use this cross for whatever you want...personal use, CU, S4H/O. The more we pass it around, the people will know that Jesus loves them. I hope you all like it, I made it all by myself!! YAH!! I would love to see anything that you make with it...kit..LO..QP..whatever you make!

Childhood Memories Blog Train

Another Award Whoo Hooo!

Amberbaz left me a comment saying that the link that I posted in the previous post, the one to my 'In loving Memory' kit wasn't working...just wanted to let everyone know that I fixed it and it will take you to the post that has the preview and download. Just a quick post to show off my baby!! I made this little brag book page for a challenge and wanted to show it off. Since Grace's b-day is Oct. 20, my mom & sister threw her a costume/b-day party. Award and LO share!

This is my 2nd post today! WOW!

I got an award from Lei @ Fairydust Princess and I wanted to post it today, especially since she is the one who also did a LO with one of my kits. I am honored, not only for these awards, but that someone like Lei, who makes such beautiful kits, would want one of mine.

The kit she used was my 'In Loving Memory' kit (which you can get here). She has recently suffered a lose in her family and she said this kit was perfect (what kind words she left me on her blog).

We all lose someone we love at some point in our lives, that is what inspired that kit. My grandmother passed away in May. I had some pix that I'd taken of the sky and thats what I used for BG papers. I think it was just perfect cuz it reminds us that God is always watching over us and that there is something to look forward to! He had made so many beautiful sky paintings (thats what I call it) of sunsets and sunrises and just beautiful days, can you just imagine what Heaven looks like? We just get a glimpse of it and I know that the people we love are watching over us from those beautiful skies!

Here is the award that she gave me (she actually gave me 2!) The first one is the this blog has heart award, its the same one that Michelle @ Craftyscraps gave to me. Here is the new one. Thanks so much Lei for this award..I am truly honored and my prayer are with you and your family!!

'Do the Dew'

I have a diff kind of kit for you..its a mini...about Mt. Dew. You heard me right..a mini kit for all you Mt. Dew lovers out there!!

I had to do a LO of my Fav. drink for busyscrappin's challenge and of course my fav drink is MT.DEW. What else is there to drink? *LOL*

I am learning how to make papers from colors out of a photo, so the papers are Mt. Dew colors. I hope you all like it and maybe can use it for something. I made it for the challenge so what not give it away, right?

Grace's 2nd B-day

First I wanted to tell you all that I am not longer a DIT. Mandy decided to quit designing and is shutting it down. Its o.k. I still have all the resources she gave me and found lots of my own. I even joined a digiscrappin class online, so hopefully I'll get better @ the kit making thing! *LOL* I have joined a couple of blog trains, so keep watch! Plus, I have a free mini fall kit for you all so check back tomorrow!!

We had Gracie's 2nd costume/B-day party on Sat. We had so much fun!! One of the games my mom did was fill a big bowl full of cooked spaghetti and put some marbles at the bottom..they hat to try to pick up the marbles with their TOES! It was so funny. I know the slide show is a little long, but so worth it. Enjoy the show, I hope you like it!!

'Legacy'

I wanted to share this LO with you. There are a few things that inspired this LO. I did a 'Lyrics LO' challenge with Busyscrappin (I didn't use this song) but it had been on my mind for some reason. Then a few days ago, I heard this song...'Legacy' by Nicole Nordeman. I have heard this song before and I love it!

The message is about God and trying to do what He wants us to do and leave a 'legacy' of what we are supposed to be in Christ.

Although I totally agree with that message...that is not what my LO is about. Its about what kind of legacy I want to leave for my children. I know all parents wonder what their children will remember about them. Did they love them enough, did they do all the right things, did they loose thier temper too much, etc.

All this 'fighting' we've been doing with the schools, I want to teach my children that it IS o.k. to stand up for what you think is right, regardless! I don't want them to be afraid to stand for what they believe in even if there may be consequences. I want them to make the right choices. I also want them to remember how much I love them and would do anything in my power for them! I don't want them to remember that I 'punished' them for not cleaning their rooms, doing their chores, fighting with their sibllings, etc. I want them to remeber to always do what is right in God's eyes & not worry about anyone else! He is the One they have to answer to in the end.

Its funny how most people remember more of the bad things that happen to them than the good things! I hope my children will always remember the good stuff. I hope you all like my LO and ask yourself....What kind of 'Legacy' will you leave??

I also made a QP (sort of).. it is the background with the fence and lyrics to the song. I figured someone might want it and so something with it. If you make something, I would just love to see it.

I used Melanie @ Digi by Gods Design newly released kit 'Transforming Love'. This kit is AWESOME! It is over 100MG and well worth it! There is so many great papers and elements. I only used a snid bit of it. Go buy it now! *LOL*

'Sophisticated' Kit & QP

I just posted my first kit that I made for the DIT blog. I hope you all like it! I know that I made a kit before, but this time, it is with stuff that I actually made myself! *LOL* Mandy, who started the DITs, has been helping me out alot, giving me great tutorials sites and such. That has enable me to make a few things.

The kit is not that big, I am still limited to stuff I can make still. I am still learning new stuff. Here is a preview of my kit & (of course) a QP. I know that I like to see stuff made from a kit so, when I got done with this kit, I instantly thought of one of Kayla's modeling pix. She says she looks so sophisticated in that pix & the colors goes so well with the shirt she is wearing!

I couldn't figure out how to do the preview...so, when I started putting everything on there, I liked the way the ribbon and the word sophisticated looked, so I just enlarged them and used that as a preview, cool huh? Everything you see on the preview is included in the kit.

'Praise You in this storm'

I know I should be in bed right now (I'm kind of a night owl anyways, *LOL*) but I just finished a LO for busyscrappin's Song Lyric challenge and I wanted to share it with you!

I have been tring to decide what song to use, originally I was gonna do 'People get ready, Jesus is coming' by Crystal Lewis or a Hannah Montanna song (my girls wanted me to) but when I was over my moms house, my sister Amanda, suggested 'Praise You in this storm' by Casting Crowns. I have always loved this song, so thats what I decided to do.

I was planning on getting pix of diff lightning storms (I just think they are beautiful) and once again Amanda gave me an idea. She suggested that I get pix of the hurricans and such....so this was produced.....

I get side tracked with my faith sometimes and then I think of this song...God is always there when you truly need Him. It may not sometimes be in the way they we want but it is always in the way that He wants. I struggle with that at times, but like the song says...."I'll praise You in this storm" No matter what your storm may be, give Him praise!

My Prince

This will be a quick post, I've been spending so much time on the internet that I need to catch up on some cleaning...uuggghhhh! Its need to be done! It got quite dusty! *LOL*

I asked Leilani from Fairydustprincess to make a prince kit to go with her Cinders Dream and Cinders Wish and she made one! YAH! I have made some LOs for my girls but needed something for Andrew. Of course, she didn't disappoint me. I just love this lil prince kit. Here is a preview of her kit...

Here is the LO that I made with it...I bought Andrew and Nick (my nephew) some swords, shields and a brestplate. They look so cute don't they?

'Sunkissed Love'

Hi eveyone. Hope your weekend is going good. I made a LO using Nezzidesign's kit 'Sunkissed Love' I hope you all like it. Of course I turned it into a QP. We just got back from my mom & dads house, my mom & I spent most of the evening scrappin! We still do the traditional scrap, but with our digi pages *lol* I will be posting them on here sometime in near future! Anyways, here is a preview of 'Sunkissed Love'..

Girly Girl

Sorry, my post is late today, had a long day. I went to town with my sister to have lunch and we had a few errands to run. Then after the kids got home from school, we had to go to cheerleading practice, then had dinner @ my moms, then home. John gave the little ones a bath, then everyone else went to bed....whooo! Now, its time to relax and play online for awhile.. *lol*

BTW, did you notice that I got the blinkies working. YAH!!! It took me most of the day to figure it out! Not to mention all the e-mails that I sent to Leaonna asking for help. Thank you so so much Leaonna!!! You are awesome! I really appreciate you!

Exciting News

I have exciting news for you all...I will now also be a part of the CT for Melanie and Leaonna! I am just so excited about that, can't you tell. I am so lucky to be working with alot of wonderful ladies..and I thank them so much for this opportunity! I will have their blinkies on here soon, as soon as I figure this thing out...I'm a little technically challenged at the moment apparantly! *ROTFL* When Michelle designed my blog, she added her blinkie and I tried to get it the others to work, but for some reason I can't. Leaonna needs to redo hers she said, and Melanie doesn't know the 'code' for hers since she doesn't do blogger. Suggestions would be welcome! Anyways, I am still gonna try to learn to make my own stuff but right now I am having way to much fun playing with others! *lol*. I like to make LOs and QPs, that I can do right now, so you'll most likely just get QPs for now, maybe a mini kit here and there, until I learn more. You all don't care do ya?
