'Spring Formal' Dance

Kayla had a 'Spring Formal' Dance on Friday. She looked so beautiful and so grown up. I can't believe that my baby will be turning 13 come this Sept. How time flies! All my little ones are growing up. We Celebrated Andrew's 5th birthday last week, Dana will be 10 in June and little Gracie will turn 3 this October.

We have this tradition with our kids, since their birthdays can fall during the week instead of always on a weekend (hey, wouldn't that be nice?? *LOL*) We either have their party the weekend before or the weekend after their b-days. So, to make them feel special on their actual b-day, they get to choose what/where we go for dinner. They can choose whatever they want/ where ever they want.

Since Andy's b-day was on a Tues and the girls had Softball Practice (not to mention John gets off work late now) My mom, Sister and I took him out for lunch instead of dinner. Of course we took Gracie and the twins. I was afraid he would ask for McDonalds for lunch! *LOL* Instead he chose Stevie B's which is an all you can eat pizza place. They make some of the most unual pizzas..from macaroni and chees pizza to a blt pizza. My fav is the Taco Pizza (Yummm!) It has that melted cheese (like nacho chz for chips) and it has the chips, little bit of spicy sausage and onions on it. Mmmmmm!

Anyways, they have a little game room too, so we let the kids play for a little while...and guess what? Gracie Cheated at Skee Ball...Look....

She was getting mad that she couldn't roll the ball hard enough to get up in the holes to get points..so she climbed under the gate and put them all in the high points holes! *LOL* She got lots of tickets though! Andy had fun too...

Don't ask me about the face he was making, cuz I have NO Clue why he was making those faces! *ROFL* We had a good day!

I knew that someday she would not want me hanging around at her dances and stuff, and guess what? She kinda booted me out of this one. :( Not in so many words, but I knew she wanted me to leave. I did manage to get just a few pix though. I wanted to get one of her and her B/F but he was not there when we got there. I got one of them after the dance but it was dark and it didn't turn out all that great.

So, what did Mommy do for 2 1/2 hours during the dance?? I actually sat out in the school parking lot in my van! *LOL* Didn't feel like driving the 1/2 hour home and then having to drive back an hour later, so I just waiting out there and watch all the kids have fun. They had some tables outside and the kids hung out there and too.

I had to take this pix of myself to show John how much fun I was having! *LMAO* Do u like?? John said he liked this pix of me...could it be that is becuz some cleavage is showing?? *LOL*

I have lots in the works for you all, so stayed tuned. Sorry I haven't been around much, my kids are keeping me busy right now with softball and all their after school activities. Can't wait for Summer!!!!

NEW KIT + QP FREEBIE

My kids are on Spring Break this week and I have been trying to get them to clean up their rooms.....Boy, you would think that I had asked them to clean the Entire House! *LOL* What is it with kids and having a messy room? When I was a kid, my room was never THAT messy! It would get messy, buy I cleaned up. I didn't like a messy room, so it was cleaned up most of the time.

I remember my mom making us get up on Sat. Mornings and we had to CLEAN...I mean CLEAN. That included vacuuming and dusting...all of it. I think I have been too easy on my kids. I think they should be kids and all and have some fun, but I think they need to have some responsibilities as well. I am trying to instill that in them now....should have done it years ago! *LOL*

I made a new kit...yea, me...a new kit! *ROFL* I know that I don't make kits very often, but I actually had fun making this one. You will find several of my scripts in this kit. I even got some cool clipart for it! Its very Retro! Take a look!! I call it 'Peace'

Heres why I want to win some Kids Furniture.....

I have 4 children and they can be wild at times, what kids aren't? But when they are tired and its time for them to go to sleep, they should each have their own place to be! Kayla, Dana and Andrew all have their own room right now with their own beds, but Grace has to sleep in my room on her tiny little Toddler Bed. Its fine for her for now, but she is about to become 3 and she needs a 'Big Girl Bed' this she keeps telling me! *LOL* And since she will have to share a room with one of her sisters, we are gonna need a bunk bed. Kayla want to share with her and get one that has a Full Size on the Bottom as she has also informed me that she would like a bigger bed than her twin. Awwwww, the life of a Mother!

QP FREEBIES

Hey everyone. Sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately. I have been busy with the kids and other stuff. I am finishing up a new kit. I am actually a little excited about this one, don't usually get too excited as I don't do many kits! *LOL*

I am doing more CT work as well....I joined Katies team! I'm excited about it as the first kit of hers that I got to work with was a boys kit! YAH! I don't have many LOs done for Andy. Most of mine are of my girls....kinda wasn't fair! Here are some LOs that I did using her Boys and Toys Kit. She also has a New Store Called Scrappin Dreams which I have joined! *LOL* I don't have anything uploaded yet, as I have to redo all my previews! *ROFL* Thats gonna take me awhile.

Of course, I made them into QPs for you all! *LOL* They are 12x12 @ 300dpi this time. Sorry, I forgot to resize them to the 8x10 that I usually do. If you want to print them...just resize them to 8x8...I know it won't cover the whole page, but it will work. Just click on each LO to get that QP. These are for Personal Use Only! The first one is without any writing (of course you don't want Andrew on your LOs *LOL*) but the second one does come with the 'Boys will be Boys' words! Enjoy!
