HOPE QP FREEBIE

DIABETES!!! This is something that affected many people! My mom for instance. She has it, I see it affect her life everyday! She will spend all day in bed sometimes because of the effects it has on her body. A very good friend of mine, Michelle AKA CraftyScraps has it bad that it is now affecting her kidneys among other problems. Michelle is such a great lady, I'm sure she is pretty well known in the scrappin community! As a matter of fact, she was the very 1st person that I met! HAHA! QP FREEBIE

Been having one of those weeks! *sigh* Very tiring and its only Wed. We have games all weekend and one game is back in Dawson!! On the Jeepers Creepers field. We did not have such a good time while there last weekend. That was a very hellish day for us, you can read about it in a prev post HERE. I won't bore you with all the details again. :o)

Been doing a little creating, kinda stuck on a new script. I'm trying to make it versitile enough to work on any size paper, but couldn't figure it out.....so I asked for help. Guess who helped me? Suz Shook, the 'Script Goddess' *LOL* She has fixed it for me to be able to work no matter the size of the paper..so awesome!!! Big Hugs to you Suz! Thank you for all your help, it is greatly appreciated! *MUAH* So, keep an eye out for that one. I have to 'fine tune' it and have it tested before releasing!

QP FREEBIE

I have been quite the busy little bee lately! *LOL* My kids only have 2 weeks left of school and between after school activities, end of year activities and softball practices/games, and working on the Store, I've been exhausted! I've been tagged a couple of times and I haven't been able to respond yet, so sorry!

We went to the girls game last Sat. in Dawson (county about 1 hour or so from me) and it was terrible! It was hot, then it rained a bit, then it was even hotter!! The games started over an hour late becase the Dawson girls were not there. Believe that? We had to wait at their field for their team to get there!

Halfway thru Danas game, John informed me that we were playing on the 'Jeepers Creepers' Field! *LOL* Thats what he calls it anyways. This is their new field and first time we've been there but last year when John had to go to Albany for work he would pass this field and it spooked him. (He hates scary movies) He says this field looks like the one from 'Jeepers Creeper' with old building and the old broken school bus in it! *LOL*

I then got into an argument with Kaylas coach because he had some girl come up to Kayla and tell her that she had to run an extra lap at the next practice because she didn't have her shirt tucked in..can you believe that? I went to him and ask WTH was up with that. He said that was just he kinda guy he was, wanted to show county pride and all that. Well, it must have been the heat cuz I shot back at him. Told him the kinda Woman/Mom that I was and that Kayla was fine just the way she was, we were here to watch Dana play, we wasn't here for Kaylas game yet! He got mad. I don't care. It was like 1/3 hour or better before Kaylas game was to even start. He had no reason to say anything to her when she was just sitting there watching her sister play! *Grrrrr* these small town hicks here start to aggravate me when they think they own you or something.

So after the games, we went to McDonalds. BIG mistake! They got Grace's food wrong 3 times! 3 Times!! All she gets is a cheeseburger only pickles! How hard is that? Then got into an argument with a worker cuz she came over to our table and starting sweeping under our feet while we were eating! How rude! Didn't get home from the games till after 8 pm and we had got there at like 1pm.

Highlight of the day??? I got SUNBURNED! Yep, I sure did! I was the only one too. *sigh*

I had a kit from Katie called 'Sunshine and Daisies' that I had been meaning to make something with and after last Sat. I knew exactly what to make....what do you think??

NEW KIT + QP FREEBIE

My kids are on Spring Break this week and I have been trying to get them to clean up their rooms.....Boy, you would think that I had asked them to clean the Entire House! *LOL* What is it with kids and having a messy room? When I was a kid, my room was never THAT messy! It would get messy, buy I cleaned up. I didn't like a messy room, so it was cleaned up most of the time.

I remember my mom making us get up on Sat. Mornings and we had to CLEAN...I mean CLEAN. That included vacuuming and dusting...all of it. I think I have been too easy on my kids. I think they should be kids and all and have some fun, but I think they need to have some responsibilities as well. I am trying to instill that in them now....should have done it years ago! *LOL*

I made a new kit...yea, me...a new kit! *ROFL* I know that I don't make kits very often, but I actually had fun making this one. You will find several of my scripts in this kit. I even got some cool clipart for it! Its very Retro! Take a look!! I call it 'Peace'

Hey everyone. Sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately. I have been busy with the kids and other stuff. I am finishing up a new kit. I am actually a little excited about this one, don't usually get too excited as I don't do many kits! *LOL*

This is the 2nd part to the post! (it was so long had to make several posts *LOL*) Lots to share! I have made a LO using one of Leaonna's newest kit...Away in a Manger' This kit is just too cute for words. I didn't get to make the LO that I wanted cuz I didn't have the patience at the time to go thru 12-15 DVD plus an external hard drive looking for the pix I wanted. Maybe soon, I'll find them. My kids were in a Christmas play last year and Kayla & Dana were angels, of course, and Andy, Nick & Ruby were little sheep. This kit, which, hence the name, has stuff to create your own little manger and that would have looked so cute with those pix! *sigh* When I get my pix more organized I'll make it (or just wait till this years play *hee hee*) Back on track..here is my LO of Dana. Halloween QPs

I made a new LO using Aquarius new kit 'Romance' This kit is just beautiful! I hope you like it. I think that this is something that my sassy 2yr. old would probably say! *LOL*
