HOPE QP FREEBIE

DIABETES!!! This is something that affected many people! My mom for instance. She has it, I see it affect her life everyday! She will spend all day in bed sometimes because of the effects it has on her body. A very good friend of mine, Michelle AKA CraftyScraps has it bad that it is now affecting her kidneys among other problems. Michelle is such a great lady, I'm sure she is pretty well known in the scrappin community! As a matter of fact, she was the very 1st person that I met! HAHA! *New Kit* *FREEBIE* *Tag I made*

Well, I know its been awhile....been in one of those moods lately. Like I just don't feel up to do anything really....thats what kinda inspired my new kit. Yep, I made a Kit! *lol* I don't do many and this one is definately not like anything that I would usually do, but to be honest, I really enjoyed makin this one. I call it 'Broken'

QP FREEBIE

Been having one of those weeks! *sigh* Very tiring and its only Wed. We have games all weekend and one game is back in Dawson!! On the Jeepers Creepers field. We did not have such a good time while there last weekend. That was a very hellish day for us, you can read about it in a prev post HERE. I won't bore you with all the details again. :o)

Been doing a little creating, kinda stuck on a new script. I'm trying to make it versitile enough to work on any size paper, but couldn't figure it out.....so I asked for help. Guess who helped me? Suz Shook, the 'Script Goddess' *LOL* She has fixed it for me to be able to work no matter the size of the paper..so awesome!!! Big Hugs to you Suz! Thank you for all your help, it is greatly appreciated! *MUAH* So, keep an eye out for that one. I have to 'fine tune' it and have it tested before releasing!

But in the mean time, I have made another QP for you. I used the same kit as last time 'Sunshine and Daisies' by Designs by Katie. 8x10 @300ppi. Click my LO to download! Enjoy!

LO Share!

Do you like my Edward tag at the top of my blog? I made that with a kit called 'A Victorian Love Affair' by Candy Kisses Designs. You can get this kit HERE. I also used the Edward tube from Kristy. (I'll have to get her blog addy as I don't know it right now!) I just love it! That was the very 1st tag I ever made! *LOL* Not as good as others that I've seen, but hey, I'm not a tagger! *LOL* I am trying to learn though. I tried to follow the tut from Kay's Tutorials that is HERE but couldn't find the right template she used, so I just made my own but did use the mask and twinkle effect that she did, thanks for the tut anyways!

This next one I made using a kit called 'A Garden Wedding' by Scrappin with Lil Ole Me' and you can get the kit HERE. I really like this one! These are pictures of my sister and her husband on their wedding day! Hope you like!

LO Share

Hi everyone. Got a few LOs to share with you. This 1st LO is with a kit called 'Shades of Frost' by designer Serene by RW. This kit is beautiful and you can get it at Busyscrappin. I hope you like this LO, I call it 3 Generations. It is a recent family pix that we had done of my day, my husband and my son! How handsome are they??

I made this one with a kit called 'The Angels of Christmas' by AnnaBV Designs. This is just a simple LO, but I think it worked out great! I know I usually make you all some QPs when I make my LOs but I have not gotten the okay from the designers as of yet. If I do, I will be sure to let you know! Christmas Kit & Black Friday Sale!

Her name is Candie and she is from my home state *LOL* I had talked to her a couple of times about a few months back, but lost touch. QPs and LO Share!

This is the 2nd part to the post! (it was so long had to make several posts *LOL*) Lots to share! I have made a LO using one of Leaonna's newest kit...Away in a Manger' This kit is just too cute for words. I didn't get to make the LO that I wanted cuz I didn't have the patience at the time to go thru 12-15 DVD plus an external hard drive looking for the pix I wanted. Maybe soon, I'll find them. My kids were in a Christmas play last year and Kayla & Dana were angels, of course, and Andy, Nick & Ruby were little sheep. This kit, which, hence the name, has stuff to create your own little manger and that would have looked so cute with those pix! *sigh* When I get my pix more organized I'll make it (or just wait till this years play *hee hee*) Back on track..here is my LO of Dana. 'Pure Joy'

Hey all,

I just finished a LO for another one of Busyscrappin's Challenges. I couldn't wait to share it! Its one of my fav. pix that we had taken. Usually I am the one behind the camera, so most pix don't have me in them. Actually like 99% of them don't. *LOL* Most of my pix only include my children. But when we had our family pix done....the photographer just did an awesome job with me & my son...Take a look...

Just a quick post to show off my baby!! I made this little brag book page for a challenge and wanted to show it off. Since Grace's b-day is Oct. 20, my mom & sister threw her a costume/b-day party. Award and LO share!

This is my 2nd post today! WOW!

I got an award from Lei @ Fairydust Princess and I wanted to post it today, especially since she is the one who also did a LO with one of my kits. I am honored, not only for these awards, but that someone like Lei, who makes such beautiful kits, would want one of mine.

The kit she used was my 'In Loving Memory' kit (which you can get here). She has recently suffered a lose in her family and she said this kit was perfect (what kind words she left me on her blog).

We all lose someone we love at some point in our lives, that is what inspired that kit. My grandmother passed away in May. I had some pix that I'd taken of the sky and thats what I used for BG papers. I think it was just perfect cuz it reminds us that God is always watching over us and that there is something to look forward to! He had made so many beautiful sky paintings (thats what I call it) of sunsets and sunrises and just beautiful days, can you just imagine what Heaven looks like? We just get a glimpse of it and I know that the people we love are watching over us from those beautiful skies!

Here is the LO that Lei made..isn't it beautiful? Great job Lei, I love it!

Here is the award that she gave me (she actually gave me 2!) The first one is the this blog has heart award, its the same one that Michelle @ Craftyscraps gave to me. Here is the new one. Thanks so much Lei for this award..I am truly honored and my prayer are with you and your family!!

'Legacy'

I wanted to share this LO with you. There are a few things that inspired this LO. I did a 'Lyrics LO' challenge with Busyscrappin (I didn't use this song) but it had been on my mind for some reason. Then a few days ago, I heard this song...'Legacy' by Nicole Nordeman. I have heard this song before and I love it!

The message is about God and trying to do what He wants us to do and leave a 'legacy' of what we are supposed to be in Christ.

Although I totally agree with that message...that is not what my LO is about. Its about what kind of legacy I want to leave for my children. I know all parents wonder what their children will remember about them. Did they love them enough, did they do all the right things, did they loose thier temper too much, etc.

All this 'fighting' we've been doing with the schools, I want to teach my children that it IS o.k. to stand up for what you think is right, regardless! I don't want them to be afraid to stand for what they believe in even if there may be consequences. I want them to make the right choices. I also want them to remember how much I love them and would do anything in my power for them! I don't want them to remember that I 'punished' them for not cleaning their rooms, doing their chores, fighting with their sibllings, etc. I want them to remeber to always do what is right in God's eyes & not worry about anyone else! He is the One they have to answer to in the end.

Its funny how most people remember more of the bad things that happen to them than the good things! I hope my children will always remember the good stuff. I hope you all like my LO and ask yourself....What kind of 'Legacy' will you leave??

I also made a QP (sort of).. it is the background with the fence and lyrics to the song. I figured someone might want it and so something with it. If you make something, I would just love to see it.

I used Melanie @ Digi by Gods Design newly released kit 'Transforming Love'. This kit is AWESOME! It is over 100MG and well worth it! There is so many great papers and elements. I only used a snid bit of it. Go buy it now! *LOL*

'Praise You in this storm'

I know I should be in bed right now (I'm kind of a night owl anyways, *LOL*) but I just finished a LO for busyscrappin's Song Lyric challenge and I wanted to share it with you!

I have been tring to decide what song to use, originally I was gonna do 'People get ready, Jesus is coming' by Crystal Lewis or a Hannah Montanna song (my girls wanted me to) but when I was over my moms house, my sister Amanda, suggested 'Praise You in this storm' by Casting Crowns. I have always loved this song, so thats what I decided to do.

I was planning on getting pix of diff lightning storms (I just think they are beautiful) and once again Amanda gave me an idea. She suggested that I get pix of the hurricans and such....so this was produced.....

I get side tracked with my faith sometimes and then I think of this song...God is always there when you truly need Him. It may not sometimes be in the way they we want but it is always in the way that He wants. I struggle with that at times, but like the song says...."I'll praise You in this storm" No matter what your storm may be, give Him praise!

My Prince

This will be a quick post, I've been spending so much time on the internet that I need to catch up on some cleaning...uuggghhhh! Its need to be done! It got quite dusty! *LOL*

I asked Leilani from Fairydustprincess to make a prince kit to go with her Cinders Dream and Cinders Wish and she made one! YAH! I have made some LOs for my girls but needed something for Andrew. Of course, she didn't disappoint me. I just love this lil prince kit. Here is a preview of her kit...

Here is the LO that I made with it...I bought Andrew and Nick (my nephew) some swords, shields and a brestplate. They look so cute don't they?

Question: Do you print and traditional scrap your Digi LOs? I do! I spent most of the day Sun. over @ my moms paper scrappin. I love the digi world but I also still like to paper scrap. I still have LOTS of paper scrap stuff, so why let it go to waste, right?
